Knox congratulates Alumna Ali Edwards ’13 on the release of her feature film “August at Twenty-Two.” This cheeky film about a floundering actress who falls in love with her best friend’s girlfriend is currently making its way through the festival circuit. Ali wrote and starred in the film, and received an award for Best Actress in a Feature Film!
Head of School Virginia Riccardi was pleased to see Ali and the film in person at the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens, New York. “It was amazing to see all of the talents Ali exhibited as a Knox student brought to life and recognized in such a prestigious venue,” Mrs. Riccardi stated. “Ali has raw and unrestricted talent, and I have no doubt we will all see her work on the silver screen in years to come!”
Congratulations, Ali. You are a shining example of tenacity and you make your Alma Mater proud!
